SVHC to Host Go to Market Series for Farmers & Producers

As a way to help local producers and farmers grow their farm and food ventures, Seven Valleys Health Coalition (SVHC) and the Center for Agricultural Development & Entrepreneurship (CADE), have partnered to host a five-part series starting in April. Often the process of bringing a value-added product to market is filled with multiple barriers - marketing know-how, time, etc. This series, boasting both virtual and in person components, will help participants start the branding and marketing process. The learning series starts on April 6, and commences May 30.

Join CADE staff for a deep dive into your go to market strategy. Covering topics in the branding and marketing world this five-part course will prepare students to strategize their marketing plan to ensure it speaks to the brand, provides diversity (a-hem...resiliency), room for growth and sustainability. Students will leave the course with a comprehensive marketing plan that supports your goals and that can take you to market -- wherever that is for you.

The series, taught both via Google classroom and in-person will allow participants to share their experiences and learn from each other and CADE staff. In-person discussions will happen every two weeks, with individual work averaging about three-hours each week, outside class/discussion time.

Every participant who completes the entire series, including attending all sessions, will receive a certificate of completion, and a Cortland Harvest kit. Cortland Harvest is the new Cortland County brand highlighting locally grown and produced food and agriculture products.

Register for the class here. Registration closes April 3.
