January 2024

The mission of SVHC is to cultivate local solutions and collaborative actions that advance the health and well-being of the Cortland community.

Program Highlight: Community Health Education

In December, SVHC wrapped up a six-week Eat Healthy, Be Active Community Workshop at the Age Well Center in Cortland. This totally free workshop is curated by the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion and explores quick, healthy, and budget-friendly eating, and provides tools and tricks for incorporating physical activities and wellness principles into your everyday life.

We offer these free programs twice per year, so be on the looking for future workshops if you're interested! Many thanks to our supporters, participants, and the Age Well Center for giving us a great space to run the workshop this year.

Interested in this program? Contact Aaliyah Camp at aaliyah@sevenvalleyshealth.org.
